Terms and Conditions

Last updated 31 July 2026

These terms apply when you use the Mirror Vision app or this website. Mirror Vision is provided by Mirror Vision Pty Ltd, an Australian company, referred to here as "we", "us" and "our". By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. Using Mirror Vision

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own golf practice. You may not copy, resell, rent out, reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the app, or use it to build a competing product.

2. Your account

Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. You must provide accurate information when registering, and you must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live.

3. Your videos and content

You own your swing videos. Recording them does not give us any ownership of them.

If you turn on cloud sync or account backup, you grant us a limited licence to store, copy and transmit that content purely so we can provide the service to you: syncing it between your devices, backing it up, and letting you play it back. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account.

We do not use your videos to train models, and we do not publish or share them with anyone else, unless you explicitly ask us to or you share them yourself using the app's sharing features.

You are responsible for the content you record. Do not record people without their consent where the law requires it, and do not upload anything unlawful or that infringes someone else's rights.

4. Mirror Vision Pro subscriptions

The app is free to download. Mirror Vision Pro is an optional paid subscription that unlocks AI swing detection, auto replay, gesture controls, cloud sync and other features. Current pricing is shown in the app before you buy.

Because purchases are processed by Apple, refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies, not by us. We can help you with a request but we cannot issue App Store refunds directly.

We may change subscription pricing. If we do, we will give you notice and the change will only apply from your next renewal, never retrospectively.

5. What the app needs to work

Mirror Vision requires an iPhone and an iPad running a supported version of iOS, connected to each other over Bluetooth and peer-to-peer Wi-Fi. Performance depends on your devices, their settings and the environment you are in. Some features require you to grant permissions such as camera, microphone, local network or location access, and declining a permission may make the related feature unavailable.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Mirror Vision to break the law, to interfere with or disrupt the service, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another person's account, or to circumvent any limits on free accounts.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service running but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may update, change or discontinue features, and we may suspend the service for maintenance. If we discontinue a paid feature entirely, we will give you reasonable notice and, where appropriate, a pro-rata refund of any prepaid amount for the unused period.

8. Consumer guarantees

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures, you are entitled to a replacement or refund, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods or services remedied if they are not of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Subject to that, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is", and we exclude all other warranties, express or implied.

9. Golf performance

Mirror Vision is a video tool. It shows you what your swing is doing. It does not provide coaching advice, and we make no promise about how your golf will improve. Use common sense when practising, and take responsibility for your own safety and the safety of people around you when hitting balls.

10. Limitation of liability

Subject to clause 8, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss of data, and our total liability to you in connection with Mirror Vision is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

11. Ending these terms

You can stop using Mirror Vision at any time by deleting your account and removing the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. If we terminate your account without cause while you hold a paid subscription, we will refund the unused portion.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will update the date at the top of this page and notify you in the app. Continuing to use Mirror Vision after that means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state. If you are a consumer in another country, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
